When I relook at my Adidas Conductor hi-top the other day, I still can't figure out where exactly have I seen the woven-effect print on the back side of the sneakers. When I said it's LV Damier Graphite, hmmm... not really the right one, coz the LV signature checks is more on dual tone black/grey. But this one is really like woven mat lookalike.
Then I suddenly try to use my photographic memory on which fashion house is famous for the woven leather. Aha!! I suddenly got the answer: it's Bottega Veneta. Duh! Why didn't it ticked to my mind before? Of course Bottega is the one , coz it even become their signature design.
I then check their website. Scroll, scroll, scroll... turn the page again and again. And suddenly... whaaat?? A black woven leather hi-top? This cannot be serious! That's awesome. Wait a minute. Is it just me or I think that it looks a bit like Adidas, especially with that stripe on the side (though it's only two).
Man, the Bottega sneakers really looks hot. The fact that it's black and a leather, whoa... that's even major (you've gotta use Victoria Beckham's tone when you said major!). I know, I know the price is way up there. Still, it's one true kick-ass sneakers. Slam dunk in this one? If the court is in Harrods, why not. Ahaks!! But at the moment, I'm just happy with my Adidas Conductor. (And it's has that Bottega feel too...:D)
