Being Precise.

For someone who is a hantu shopping (a shopping maniac, that is) I shop not only in-store but also online. Either it's the high-end labels like Gucci and Armani, or even highstreet brands like River Island, Topman and Uniqlo - there's a different kind of experience I gained from both types of shopping approach. In-store I can have more feel of the fabric and its texture, as well as how it fits my body right that moment before buying - whereas through online I can get something which is not offered by the brand in their 'on-land' stores while can browse through many e-shops to make comparisons without having to waste energy hopping in/out from the stores.

Yet thru online there's one big thing missing - the touchy feely thing like in-store as I mentioned before. The risk of not having the right fit of the clothes is very high. (Yet thank goodness some offers good 'return & exchange' period). And the worst if I wanna buy leather stuff, especially shoes coz I always ask - what kind of leather do they use? Is it calfskin from the cow, or is it sheepskin... or worse if they use pigskin which I definitely can't wear! Some just stated '100% leather' without giving further explanation about the type... by which for a purchase to be made is like doing a big gamble.

And thanks for e-shop like Zara that being so precise on the type of material use. They even listed the whole nine yards when it comes to what they used in the construction of the clothing and accessories (esp shoes). i think if any online shopping websites could do the same - that'll be a MASSIVE help!

Oh, did I tell you I've shopped thru Zara online before? (that was about 6 months ago!) I think they got a great service. One, because I can pay with any types of cards, even it's international credit card (with Topman and River Island, I can't). Two, I can choose delivery system - either straight to my door or collected at their nearest stores. Three, the stuff arrive so fast... faster than what they mentioned in the confirmation email. Four, if I'm not happy with the purchase, I can even returned it either by mail or to the stores too. And with the detail info about the product, IMO that's why I think it's a great shopping site. :)

Another reason why I love Zara: it made me think it's my own acronym. (ZAmRi A). Ha!
