Try an Old School Tattoo Design

It seems like everything old is new again in just about every part of life. Tattoo design is no different. Many of the old school tattoo designs are showing back up in ink on people everywhere.
Some of the old school tattoo designs that you see around are more like an homage to the original design, reminiscent of the first designs. But other tattoos are very faithful to the original design, exactly what you might have seen on someone leaving a tattoo shop in the 1940s.
One of the most common old school tattoo designs showing up is that of a pinup girl. The tattoo image was commonly seen in posters that were sent to soldiers and sailors during WWII. They were supposed to remind the soldiers who they were fighting for. Betty Grable was probably the most famous of the pinup girls. The posters weren’t what we would consider sexy now, but they were pretty hot back in the day. In the early to mid 1900s, most of the people who were getting tattoos were in the military, so it wasn’t a big surprise that there were a lot of tattoos of pinup girls.
One surprise that people might get about who is getting old school tattoo pinup girl designs is that more and more women are getting them. Some women are getting tattoos of themselves as a pin up girl. The women who choose to do this say that they are empowering themselves, and to take back their sexuality. Others do get the pinup girl ink just because they like the design. Of course, there are also men who get pinup girl tattoos.
There are a multitude of reasons that they get their ink. Some men get their girlfriend’s or wife’s pictures done as a pinup girl, because they love that person and want to have her with them always. Others, because they like a design.
There are many different old school tattoo designs. There are also many different reasons to get your tattoo done old school. Having an old school tattoo shows an unbroken line from the people, like Sailor Jerry, who started making tattoos the art they are now.

Feminine Tribal Tattoos

Feminine tribal tattoos are on the rise and with that increasing popularity it is becoming more common to see females branding a Hawaiian tattoo instead of other typical "pretty tattoos." Like all flower tattoos there are classical meanings behind the flowers and there are also typically designs such as tribal that these Hawaiian flowers are commonly found immortalized within. So what is the meaning behind these tattoos and why could this be the perfect feminine tribal tattoo?

Those who have decided to seek the Hawaiian flower instead of a rose or another common flower are making a great decision. It encompasses all the feminine beauty of any other flower with a unique twist. This flower tattoo is typically found in tribal form. Instead of the bright flowy colours we tend to see in flower tattoos it is usually made with big bold black lines, in a more tribal form. It can be added to beautiful other Hawaiian tribal designs such as the sea turtle, mountains and other well known Hawaiian symbols.

These flowers stand for friendship and hospitality just like the Hawaiian people. Another popular Hawaiian flower choice is the lei. These beautiful flowers are found in bright colourful presentations all over the bodies of both men and women. There are also those who have permanently inked these beautiful flowers in lei's around their necks, to symbolize the hospitality and friendship that is presented by Hawaiian natives to visitors to their island. For those who choose the exotic form of the Hawaiian flower tattoo you can ensure it is one to be proud of and to wear happily.

Good Tattoos For Girls

You also need to be aware of the galleries you are choosing to stick your head into. If you go to a site and the first couple of pages are all pictures of completely generic designs, that’s a good bet that the rest of their gallery will have that cookie cutter stuff. Run away from those places as fast as you can, because you don’t want to fall into the trap of “settling” on generic art. You want to see good tattoos for girls, not cookie cutter art that 400 other people put on their skin. Even funnier, I bet that 95% of those folks regret putting that design on their body, too. It’s scary, but it’s true. I see it all the time.

Here’s what it all comes down to: Start taking pride in picking good tattoos for girls, no matter what style choices you like.

When you choose a tattoo it should be kept in mind that it is not only drawing a tattoo design rather the tattoo comforts that would be a vital factor for your fashion. Similarly, you should know how to draw tattoos and follow some guidelines to use those properly. Sometimes you might go to salon or beauty parlor and sometimes you can make your design by yourself. And always try to keep your tattoo design dry and clean keeping away from sun. It is also important to decide how long your tattoo will stay on your body. Sometimes it would cause your pain or allergy as well. So be careful regarding tattoo choosing, drawing and using as well.

Tattoos Model

We want you on the news tattoo model. Tattoos are now more popular than ever. Many celebrities have one or more tattoos, including actors, actresses, pop stars and sports stars. Even models are joining the trend. Many go for small discrete tattoos, but some are more daring, with large designs on prominent parts of the body. But many modeling agencies try to dissuade their stars from body markings. For catalog and magazine work the customer often demands tattoos to be made invisible (by body make up, or post-shoot on the computer), and in the world of high-fashion, tattoos are still seen as ugly and unsightly serving only to take away attention from the clothes.

Tattoo model? What? Does that mean you get tattooed by tattoo apprentices? Or does it mean you pose while someone has your likeness tattooed upon them? Either way, it doesn't seem like a very lucrative or long-lived career, so it's good to hear that Michelle “Bombshell” McGee (no, really) has made a few dollar talking to In Touch Weekly. I also think it's nice to see that Sandra Bullock with her fancy-pants Oscar gets taken down a notch or two the week after her triumph. Uppity women need to be put in their place by salt-of-the-earth types like Bombshell McGee. Because this story impresses me so, I will, uncharacteristically, leave it free of my comments, so you can enjoy it uninterupted. All the way down to the Vanilla Gorilla.
