Here’s to the after hours athlete!. PumaIndonesia mengelar acara Puma Social Party pada awal bulan Oktober 2011 lalu,bertempat di Bibliotheque, Sampoerna Strategic Squere, Jakarta. Konsep acaraini sungguh berkesan, seru, dan menyenangkan. 

Para undangan yang hadir dapatberaktivitas layaknya olahragawan mulai dari bermain billiard, ping pong, danlainnya. Dengan dihibur penampilan dari Bottlesmoker, Tennage Illionaires, DJBone, dan di pandu oleh Abigail Larasati, acara ini sukses dan tak mengenalkata bosan.

ANIMALE STREGA

Animale Strega, dua kata yang dalam bahasa Italy diartikan sebagai binatang (animale) dan penyihir (strega) ini menginspirasikan iStyle kali ini. Singa, Zebra, Burung, dan berbagai binatang lainnya memberikan elemen unik untuk dipadukan dalam styling. Suit + Sneakers Combination

Would it be a major fashion faux pas if you wear a suit with a pair of sneakers? Not anymore coz these days there're no rules in fashion. You can basically wear anything that you want - the only thing is, whether it looks good or not, which is a different question after all. And not if you know how to rock it too. One that is 'almost' got it right for the suit-sneakers combo is Jay Baruchel, which I happen to notice in my previous blogpost. [read here].

To me there is nothing wrong of pairing these two. Well, at least not for the office for sure coz you should look a bit 'respectable' when you sign the deal papers. Yet, suit+sneakers is always okay after-five activities, or during which you wanna feel a bit casual when you go out with your mates. How to pair suit+sneakers, it's up to you, and our friend at Glam Lelaki give some choice how to do it.

So, a Dior suit with a Converse All Stars, anybody?

Let me start off by saying that I love D-Mop’s events. For a little background info, D-Mop is a high-end retail chain with locations in several of Hong Kong’s top shopping centers. In addition they have two large flagship shops in Central and Causeway Bay – Hong Kong’s major shopping meccas – which are a magnet for local celebrities. Friday night they held an event for Japanese designer Mihara Yasuhiro. Mihara designs an upscale line for Puma and just put out a limited edition book to commemorate his new line.

The crowd found at D-Mop’s events echoes the clothing they specialize in – upscale, creative and funky. This is a big difference from say, a Gucci or LV party, where the crowd isn’t nearly as charismatic. There’s always a quality, rather than quantity aspect to their events. Friday night’s party was filled with people sporting unique looks. Unfortunately, I was so busy talking, I didn’t take any crowd shots! For a peek at more sneakers by Mihara Yasuhiro…
