Matthew Williamson for H&M: Are Men Ready For It?

If Matthew Williamson could be immortalized as a Bond villain, he may sport the name - Printsgalore. That's lots of prints for you lot. Yup, it's true. Williamson and prints are just inseparable duo. Whether you see it in the previous Coke bottle wrapper, to his collection at Habitat, prints are always there.

Making his debut in menswear collection, his collabo with H&M also sees his infamous prints in store. Some eye-popping colors, great slim fitting silhouette and a bit flashy trend, the collection is not just your typical summer clothes. Perhaps they're for the brave and uber stylish one who'd definitely dare to be different in this time of weather.

So what's in store? There's great selection of jackets - the dark blue with print trim on the lapels, studded leather biker jacket, printed blazer and the Madras stripe sand jacket - together with the matching pants. Talking about pants - some eye-catching colors are on the rails too like the pink, green and blue jeans. And not to mention the ikat-inspired long-sleeved and pua kumbu-look short sleeved tees.

And there's some accessories too like this print scarves and the Moroccon paisley-printed belt (though it look kinda cheap). plus some shades and patent shoe.

Available soon in mid May. One question to the men out there - are we ready for the collection?

Samsung N310: Netbook That Goes Haute Couture

Samsung has done it again! Popular with the collabo with Giorgio Armani for its Samsung Armani phone range, they has gone haute couture once again - but this time with the netbook. Hail the sleek Samsung N310 - latest in the range. Just being released to the UK market end April.

So what's hot about this notebook? The overall design speak for itself. The seamless pebble design with embossed Samsung logo on the front really caught my eyes without any doubt. Very clean finish, with no protruding I/O here and there, the netbook look more like a oversized pill case (but in a good way of course). The design is a brainchild of none other than the master itself - Naoto Fukasawa - who has more than 50 award-winning innovations bearing his name (his latest includes the Issey Mikaye's Twelve watch - read my prev blog entry)

Talking about N310, besides its remarkable silhouette the netbook offer quite good spec embedded in its frame which include:

The spec may be pretty much basic for a netbook, but what I love about it is the rubberised feel and oh-so-cool seamless look. And oh, it comes with 4 cell battery as mentioned, quenching about 5 hours usage. Another thing is the frameless screen, as if it is being crafted out of a single glass! Not to mention the uber cool chiclet keyboard that is big and very comfy enough to type.

And they comes in 4 color options - black, orange, mint blue and navy. And the spec is slightly different as well eventhough the price is almost the same (you get 4-in-1 card reader for the Orange one, but only 3-in-1 for the Black option).

The price? Whoops.. it's £399. But for stylonista, that's nothing!
