Front Zippered Boots @ COS

I went to COS at Long Acre (that's near Covent Garden) during the beginning of the winter sale to check what items they're putting on discounts. To me COS's shirts are something that I looked for during sale season coz I love their use of fabric and how it fits me very well. Since most of them are at 50%, I'd rather snatch 'em fast or risk losing my chances and ended up with all bigger sizes hanging on the rails.

Anyway. Upon checking the clothes in what I think quite smaller menswear section on the first floor, one shoes suddenly caught my attention. I said to my self, wow.. that is something different. Not pretty sure though how exactly my reaction when I saw it. It's a cross between a loafer and a boots (shall I call it loafoot? lol!). But that's not what make me intrigue about it. The fact that it has a zipper in the front making it somewhat very different. Edgy? I can't say. Quirky? Maybe. Though it look pretty simple - still it's different.

Thank God there's none in my size. Otherwise I could add further verdict on how it feels on my feet.

Btw, the loafoot (ehehehe..I can't help it) reminds me of the one that I saw at Oki-ni. Similar design by Damir Doma in grey. The difference is, at COS the zipper is slightly shorter whereas the Damir Doma boots has the zipper went all the way right to the toe end. And oh, the other difference is the price. The Damir Doma will send you to a whopping more than £500, while at COS the price is about £130.

When I think back, hey, where have I seen the front zippered boots before? Oh, yes. Last September when I blog about Tim Hamilton Autumn/Winter 09 collection. They got kinda similar look - like the mid-calves boots worn by Robbie here, and the other in slighly above the ankle. Pretty cool...
