We in London is still in mid-winter. Still the weather is quite unpredictable, coz being so typical British weather, the temperature can go up and down, or it can be snow or rain without you even know it. Now I have a pity for those who work in the Met Office, coz it's hard when someone blame you should the weather doesn't go well with what's being predicted.
Anyway. Getting caught into this kinda weather, one particular item which I think a great investment is the macs. It's one piece of clothing which is seasonless too - coz it's always there in the store regardless of time, and you can layer it to suit with what's going on out there when you go out. Layer it with some heavy knits during winter, or pair it with a tee during that chilly summer nights - it works equally well.
Where to get one? Everywhere, from highstreet stores like Topman, River Island and H&M, or the designer brand, in which Burberry is so synonymous with the trenchcoat department. For the cut, I always go slightly above the knee. Too long, I'll look like Inspector Gadget. Too cropped, then it'll look too peacoat.
As for color, I always love neutral or light sand, coz it looks classic and can be paired with any. Like this Burberry trenchcoat, which comes at a whopping price above £600! Or for the stingy people like moi, I've chosen the H&M macs, which is so cool coz it feels like Burberry. Plus, the symmetricality of the design made it look even timeless. And it's only at 1/10 of Burberry price tag!
