The main intention is to get the last week's issue of Shortlist and Stylist magazine at the till. But when this lady suddenly pushed me towards the center of the store, I can't help by acting as if I'm about to go to the first floor instead. Well, that's what I did eventually. To the first floor of French Connection at Oxford Circus. With the mags in my hand too.
I'm not normally too excited about the collection at FCUK. But when they did new ad campaign, which I think kinda rebranding of the label, the new clothes on the rails seems to look quite good. And at better pricing too. Upon browsing around, I can't help but get lured into the scarves section where my eyes were suddenly stuck to this leopardesque-print scarf in grey/black. It was a "whoa" moment. I love the pattern. I love the color. And I like the feel of the fabric. So luscious, not too heavy and not too light. A seasonless feel, which I think equally great in autumn/winter or spring/summer.
So, what I did? Take it to the till and pay for it. Again, another 'whoa' moment. I'm in absolute surprise when the price is way much cheaper than it was on the tag. Is it the cashier made a mistake, or is it just my lucky day - that I dunno. Anyway, wearing it during the minor snowy day yesterday, the scarf did the job well. What a bliss. :)
Oooh, I love FC's new shopping bag with this statements. It's brilliant... kinda summarizes what I am. Ahaks!
