"I got a secret rose tattoo, I'm dying just to show you
I'm not as shy as you think I am..."
Remember that lyrics? No? It's from Not Such An Innocent Girl by Ms. VB. Victoria Beckham. During that heydays when she still made her mark in music scene. Okay, I know it's kinda lame but aren't we all love Mrs. VB? And the video, though it's kinda old now - I love the fusion of black and white, good and evil it's trying to portray. Very yin and yang! :)
Anyway, it's the tattoo thing which drawn me to the lyrics though. And it's the tattoo thing also drawn me to these pillows. I meant to write about this a couple of months ago really, when I saw those at Dwell , Tottenham Court Road. Fyi they've opened their store in front of the Goodge St. tube station, where they took over where Pier used to be. The store is very light and airy and I love how the decor is put together. The furniture and some of the home decor accessories look pretty awesome too.
One of the pieces that I love are these tattoo cushions which I saw at the display window. Well, they're actually a simple white cushion but what add some pizzazz to it is the tattoo sketched on it. One says the word 'Mum' (great if you wanna give it to your mother), the other one features skull and roses, and there's also a tattoo heart - kinda similar to what appears in Gucci for Unicef last year featuring Rihanna in the ad campaign. But aren't they all look too simple? Yes, they are. But at least it'll spice up a bit to any bland interior that you're having. You know, if you got all white bedsheet and stuff... scatter this cushions of this among those pillows that you have, at least it'll bring more 'live' to the bedroom. :)
They cost around £20 each. Yikes! Too pricey isn't it? Just by looking at the price I think I can made 'em myself.
Now..where's my pencil...
