It's time to be nauti again! No, not naughty - but nautical. You know the drill, the maritime theme with the horizontal stripes and stuff. Like what the old-school sailor use to wear. If you look into the women's fashion scene, nautical stripes really made a huge trend last season. All the ladies seems to went gaga and try to copy the look made famous at Balmain catwalk, or the one that is worn by Kate Moss in one photoshoot. What not? They looks awesome coz the stripes don't go throughout the ensemble, only plays around at the bottom part while leaving 'empty' on the above. Just looks at the pix below, then you got the point...
Anyway, this season some highstreet stores went for the look as well in menswear collection. H&M did two long-sleeves tee in black and blue stripes, which look pretty simple but chic. At He by Mango, the look is seen on a cardi and a short-sleeves tee instead. I think, if you get 'em all... you can rock the look in any way you want. One day, you can do the long sleeves... the next week it's nauti cardi again... and the other week, the short-sleeves tee. Nauti sorted, ahaks!
And if you think nauti stripes is really your thing and wanna go OTT even into your home decor, then you can copy what Jean Paul Gaultier did for his incoming home decor collection. Everything wrapped in nothing but white and black stripes. So JPG and so Parisian chic! :)
