Last week might be a bit of too much for the Brits when the mercury goes up to almost 32 degrees. With temperature went up, so does the pants length (if u know what i mean). Everybody starts wearing shorts including moi. To the shops, to the park and even to the office (thank God I'm a student, that's acceptable LOL!). Yet some people think it's quite inappropriate to wear shorts to the workplace regardless of the weather.
So the debate in the Londonpaper continues: Is it OK for men to wear shorts in the office?
I personally would say, why not? As long as it's a tasteful one, not the one with 5-pockets, baggy like-you-can-fill-someone's-head-in-it and looks like you're going fishing. My choice would definitely be the slim fit tailored shorts or better yet the tailored crops, coz it looks sharp and smart. Pairing it with a good plimsols or slip-on shoes, it definitely carries off the casual/formal look.
Yet, I dunno whether people should wear it to the boardroom. Unless the meeting is at a beach resort or you're some kinda rockstar, I think it's deffo a NO, NO!
