SHORTLIST STYLE: Color Jeans

Denims reinventions again! This time it seems that all kinds of color are splashed on jeans. Red, yellow, green, blue, pink... you name it. And since summer is all about colors, it's really fun, fun, fun. And I do love color (not to be mistaken with Samantha's lingo in the Sex and The City movie :D). It's the easiest way to spruce up the bland wardrobe. Hmm... no wonder people there's chromatotherapy. Color can change moods.

Anyway, what's hot? Shortlist Style issue has line up some great selection of colored jeans available at highstreet stores. All kind of spectrum. And skinny seems to make a return, eventhough some loathe it.

Talking about colored jeans, I've gotta chance to try some of them out there during my weekly shopping tour. My experiment: H&M and Uniqlo (which is in Shortlist). My verdict? The pale green jeans that made cut as 'Style Director's Choice' is not my kinda thing. Ugghh! The color seem to be faded. The fabric look kinda washed out. The color's not that flattering. As if they've just dip it in a green bucket and took it out and hang to dry! Instead, I love the yellow one which is not in the list. Better color and fabric quality. Same price but much nicer (eventhough the color is too overwhelming).

At Uniqlo, I love the fabric and the cut (slim fit). I don't get a chance to tried on the marine blue suggested coz none of my size is available. But there're great. Instead I tried on the other blue and the green one. They are real colored jeans. And fyi, I've bought the sand, grey and white one long, long time ago when Uniqlo just stock it in store!
