A Coffee Challenge Via Starbucks

Armani boots? Check. Gucci laptop sleeve? Check. YSL (free) tote bag? That's check too. Hmmm.. what is missing?

If you're living in any metropolis, or in megalo-urban jungle, it's a shame if you don't look good. You have to coz it's part and parcel of living in the city. It doesn't really matter how much you pay for your clothes, but how it made you look in it - that's important. Me, as typical Londoners we like to mix and match. Little bit of highstreet with a touch of designer labels.

Oh, talking about what's missing? Once you're in head-to-toe looking stylish, to complete the look you must be seen holding a coffee cup. Yup.. then that's a big bonus which stamped "Holla! You're a stylish city boy" (that's my own intrepretation btw). Without it, your look is bland. Incomplete. So you think a trip to coffee shop daily is just to get a shot of caffeine? Haha.. nope. It's more than that. You've gotta look like what Dsquared2 FW09 show that sent off models like Chanel Iman and Freja Beha in that hot-looking frock with Starbucks in their hands. And that's uber cool! =)

(No, I'm not wearing a dress, if you're asking. Lol!)

Oh, talking about Starbucks, I went for their new coffee challenge last week. The Starbucks Via challenge. What's VIA you ask? It's their new ground coffee which they claim that you can make it at home and taste the same as their filtered coffee that you get in store. It's microblended, so fine that it looks like instant coffee. But taste different than the normal instant coffee that you get from your local Tesco or so.

So, the challenge? They gave me two cups of coffee - one is VIA, and another is the filtered coffee in store. What's my verdict? They are true. It's the same! You can barely spot the difference between the two. And that's why they said, buy VIA and you won't have to made frequent trip to Starbucks anymore - coz you can make it at home. Hmmm... but, mate my trip to Starbucks is more than that okay. Ahaks!

Anyway, Starbucks Via comes in various blend too like Colombia and Italian Roast, depending on whether you like an extra kick on your daily shot or not. Me, I love the Italian one (or anything gotta do with Italian, haha!), coz it stronger and taste better. If you're not sure which one your tastebuds prefer, get the little packet of three at just £1.50, and made your own choice! Brilliant isn't it? And it comes with 'preparation' instructions too. I sachet for one cup of coffee.

Yet, one thing that i didn't realised - I need two sachets everytime I made my coffee coz it's a bigger mug! Ahaks! :)

Oh, another thing to add. Have you tried the flat white? It's delish - a cross between a latte and a cappucino. Try it!
