Friday became fresher again with mild temperatures and scattered showers later in the day. (Hmm...do I sound like a weather man now, hehe). And I'm in a challenge - a wardrobe challenge - trying to wear different outfits for the next 30 days. What I put on yesterday is kinda laid back but still have a 'saying' to it. The theme - grey and blue. And since I'm a highstreet king of shopping (ehem), the basics are from Uniqlo - extra-fine merino grey V neck jumper and lightwashed blue slimfit jeans. Over it I just wore the H&M white/light grey-striped jacket with Uniqlo grey scarf. Accessories? The HE by Mango denim bag and Zara lace-up boots (again, what a fashion faux pas...).
I think I kinda pull it of quite well and made an impression especially when some model-lookalike guy stopped me by the traffic light and asked where do I get my boots. We even have a quick chat on bla, bla, bla..the price and new Zara collection. Ahaks... kinda funny I think, especially when I remembered 'Rule no. 9' by Kenneth Cole that I mentioned in previous blog. Anyway, that boots is really a showstopper coz everybody seems to be digging it too - from the Laura White-lookalike at Tube station, to my mate at the cafe and the passers-by at the street. Maybe because it looks fierce? Hehehe.. I wish. Or is it because I've just polished it making it even gleaming. I hope so too..
Anyway, what great laid back casual Friday...
