zaBigFatSnoop @ H&M...

While in H&M, after the Sonia Sykiel for H&M purchase, I went for a quick snoop on what they got to offer for new season. To be honest, not that much. Maybe because of the current weather that prolong spring to.. erm... spring quicker. Coz it's still cold in London (though that Saturday is probably the best weather after months). Even the Met office also mentioned that the blossoming of the flowers indeed has been delayed for another month due to the climate we're in nowadays. So, the nature also been affected, huh?

What's hot in H&M?

This black mesh jumper. People say it's hard to do black, coz you dunno how to work your way with it. Well, I think it's wrong coz you can play around in so many ways with black so that it won't look too static or rigid. This jumper for instance, is brilliant coz it's a perforated. Not just a perforated, the 'holes' being 'punched' in a herringbone way. Diagonal, making a 'v' shapes throughout. The fabric is great for summer too. Light but still make you feel cosy.

Alas, tribal print made its way to menswear. After Gucci showcased the Aztec influenced designs in the SS10 collection, this tee at H&M got that influence too. Very tribal, but edgy tribal. I just love the gradual colors, making it look even better. The fit is great. But it's a bit sheer, so have to wear some undershirt if you don't want the nipples showing. Ahaks!!

Oh, this piece is interesting coz when I saw it on the mannequin while making my way to the menswear dept, I said to myself I have to try it. It's an oversized tee. More like the Renaissance artists love to wear. Think Michealangelo or Leonardo (not DiCaprio, hehe). It so huge, even at the smallest size I took, I don't even know how to wear it well. The fabric is very light though. the neck is so 'scooped' or 'cowled', making me feel like I'm wearing a Vivienne Wstwood dress. Like the one that Kim Catrall wore during the SATC premiere in London. Or the one that Pamela Anderson wear. Coz Westwood dress has that signature 'pleated' neck to it. So how to wear it? I even tried putting my belt around the waist, but yikes!! That'll be a women's top then. Not cool. But whatever it is, anyone can rock in it - I'll take my hats off for them. :)
