zaBigFatSnoop: Military, Leopard and Priceless?

The autumn shower never gonna stop me from hitting the highstreet. After my big purchase for the Jimmy Choo @ H&M in the previous weekend, I vowed to myself not to make anymore purchase, coz there'll be bigger buys to be made next month - the Winter Sale!! But when I told my mate about my intention not to shop - with a cheeky grin he said, 'yeah, right...', as if he can believe anything that I say. He knew I can never hands-off my wallet and not spending my dosh anytime soon. :)

Btw, what's hot in stores? Topman and Zara has even stocked new items on the rails. Like this coatigan that I love. Yes, coatigan - a hybrid of coat and cardigan. Tie 'em up, then you'll rock the oversize cardi look; and open it up, you get a coat version. Either way, both will prevent you from chill. This one from Topman is cool coz it's a bit lite-chunky - a lighter version of chunky knit. Love the length.

After tweed making a headlines in autumn trends, the other that I think worth a look is it's sibling. The chambray jacket. It can come across as denim lookalike which I like. And denim jacket is hoooot this season! Zara, River Island and even Topman did their version which is awesome. This one from Topman got the contrasting lapels. Fit wise? Love it - very body-skimming. Love the button - chambray-coated one.

Aha! Ready for some bling, bling? The metallic jackets - in silver and bronze is utterly fab. The silver one is seen before - worn by Jedward in X-Factor show (Jedward already being X-off, btw..). The fit is flattering, the fabric is amazing. The one-button is what I always crave for. I love the bronze one coz they're more edgy and I can see it's continuity season after season (mmm.. tempting....)

New in Topman - Priceless by Antony Price collection. This time he went military. I know Antony Price is a cutting edge tailor, and it shows in his designs. I love the fit btw, though not really sure about the overall look. Yes, it does look ok - just ok. And the price? Sorry, not so priceless. I think they should renamed it to Priceyness collection. :(

What's hot in Zara? I grabbed to try this velvet blazer which I think quite something, something. Though it kinda look like +J @ Uniqlo with the edged lapels, its shoulder is the one that's making a statement. Very emperor shoulder look - kinda what Armani suit used to have. Very 80s feel. Very mod at the same time. The fabric has a luxe feel and very.. err.. velvety :)

Military is heating up at Zara! This tee has the military feel, with the embroidery prints on the torso. Love the fit; very body-con. It come in dark grey as well.

Another military trend going on is this jacket. With the buttons-galore and very flattering fit - it is very uncanny resemblance to D&G fall/winter 09 collection. The combo of black and red - amazing.

But the one that ticks my 'ooh, hoo...' box is this jumper. The leopard prints V-neck wool jumper which really look like the one by Gucci Fall/Winter '09. Agree? I am wrong last time when i said it's very sheer - the truth is it's not. (The one at H&M does, btw). I really love the fabric and how it hugs my body. Very 'ooh, hoo...' . Wear it with skinny jeans and throw a biker jacket over it - you'll definitely rocking the Gucci look. :)
