Samsung Goes Lite 'Touch'

The name's Tocco - means 'touch'. After the recent success of it's touchscreen phone, Samsung continues to offer the latest in the Tocco series. Hail the new Samsung Tocco Lite. The sub-ultra version of Tocco Ultra (and sans the touch buttons).

What do I like most about this phone is its clean look. Very streamlined, simple and chic. The color is just so urbane. Very masculine. Since reviews said that Tocco's one the most responsive of all iPhone wannabes, I believe this one might be too. And for those who can't get off Facebook and Myspace, well... glad to say that there's a widget for that. So you may not miss to poke someone or update ur FB status.

But some drawbacks though. It's not 3G. And the camera's only 3.2 MP.

So what's underneath that cool silhouette?

  • Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE connectivity
  • 3 inch TFT touchscreen display with 262K color and 240 x 400 pixels
  • TouchWiz UI
  • Accelerometer
  • Facebook, Myspace and YouTube widgets.
  • Bluetooth 2.1
  • Samsung DNSe 2.0 Music technology
  • FM Radio with RDS
  • 3.2 MP camera, with video capture capability
  • 50 MB of built-in memory (expandable with microSD card up to 8 Gb)
  • Dimension: 104 x 53 x 11.9 mm
  • Weight: 92 g

And err.. doesn't it look just like the LG Renoir? Hmm...
