High Fashion in Wellies

Rain, rain go away...

My friend, Emma, burst out in laughter when I say that phrase while waiting for the traffic light in the pouring rain. It happens three years ago, btw, but I can still remember it well. In that hilarity, she managed to complete the phrase saying 'come again another day...', coz I literally dunno what's come next after that ...go away... thing.

Anyway. Rain. After snow fall and sleet fleet... then comes the rain. Wanna wear my Gucci leather-soled boots? Err, no thank you. I'm not gonna risk my expensive shoe by soaking it in the wet pavement. Instead, I think I might wear the wellies instead. I've been wanting to get one, but no designer labels could offer a decent one. Gucci? It's too outlandish with that Guccissima pattern. Burberry? Also too prominent with that checks. Marc Jacobs? Though it's cheap, but the neon color trim and patent finish is way too girly. Hunter? Well that's too simple and quite high price for a non-designer label, though it's very famous one. So, which one should I get?

Holla. It's DSquared2. The tie-ups that what makes it a little different. There're three types - the tie-ups in black and green, and the slip-on which happen to have a 'cuff' trim. I prefer the black tie-up wellies, btw. Simple but still high fashion. They all look very masculine, and it seems to go well with any clothes you wear. Should i wear it with just the pants (I mean undies, okay)? Well, that's beyond high-fashion... lol! But to Glasto... that one is definitely can. :D
