I Heart Converse...

Isn't it a cliché to post something about 'LOVE' on the 'day of love' itself? Yes, it does. It's nauseating. And what even more nauseating to me is all these online flirtings that's been going on. Not just in the blogosphere, but everywhere. Ugghhh... get a room. And please, if people are not interested... go away! Plus, I'm not gonna celebrate Valentine's Day just for the sake to 'remember' some stupid saint anyway. Not that I don't have someone to love. I do. In fact too much people to love. Ahaks!!

Btw let's talk about love on the this 'normal' day. Not just any love or heart feelings, it's the Converse (RED) product. They've come up with some lovey dovey sneakers out there. Well, because love changes things, buying these sneakers would change other people's lives too. Coz these are (RED), hence 5-10% of the net wholesale price of these Converse (Product) RED™ shoes will be paid to The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria. Isn't it time to make a difference?

What do we have here? The Robert Indiana with 'LOVE' scriptures in black suede and white leather. FYI, Robert Indiana's iconic LOVE motif is recognized around the world as a great symbol of optimism. The definition of optimistic rebellion, Indiana's artwork broke boundaries and changed the face of the art world, while injecting informal humor, irony and pop culture references along the way. (That statement is what i copied from the site, lol)

The other collection include the Chuck Taylor versions with the 'I heart....' stamped on the side. If you're cheeky enough, then you can definitely add whoever names to that '.......' blank part. The canvas sneakers come in two colors - black and white, both in hi-tops and oxs. Oh, how to know it's a Converse (RED)? That's red ring or hole for the laces... Easy!

But if you still love the 'LOVE', then the other Robert Indiana sneakers also available which has been there for ages (but nor a (RED) one). I love this black and white, which is quite chic coz you can't tell it's a 'LOVE' thing but it is. The other iconic 'LOVE' is red-blue version, which I think the original Indiana 'LOVE' symbol.
