Valentine's Day started early this year in London; on the February 11th. But hey, wait a minute. It's not the actual one, instead it's the premiere of the star-studded romcom - Valentine's Day at Odeon, Leicester Square, London West End.
I am late. Absolutely late. I arrived at the venue around 5.30 pm, meaning there's no way that I'll be able to get a great spot to do my usual paparazzi job (cue Lady Gaga's Paparazzi please...!). Ahaks! It's been a while I've not been doing this coz lately everytime there's a film premiere at Leicester Square, I either am not in London or the weather is not so good. Anyway, that day I am barely lucky enough to get an okay spot to capture those pix of the stars arriving on the red carpet.
So, who's coming? I'm expecting all the cast of the movie to attend the premiere coz that's gonna be massive. Especially when you put Julia Roberts, Jessica Alba, Jennifer Garner, Anne Hathaway, Ashton Kutcher and Taylor Lautner all in the same pot! But dreaming to get all those stars to walk on the European Premiere of Valentine's Day that night, woohoo... that's too big of a dream.
Anyway, some of the cast gracing the carpet include Topher Grace, who plays Anne Hathaway's love interest in the movie. Man, how I've forgotten about this guy since his last That 70's Show together with Ashton. But good that he started making movies nowadays....
Julia Roberts is not coming, having her niece Emma Roberts is great too. Emma looks great in the simple flirty Kova & T black dress with embellished collar necklace, paired with Brian Atwood nude stilletto (the one that's the gals are crazy about this season!).
Well, this is a surprise! But not a surprise if you know that Ashton Kutcher is there too. It's DEMI MOORE!! Demi looks smashing in that Marchesa dress. A true star, coz anyone who can brave the chilling winter night in that dress... well, that I can give my hands down. Demi, Demi Moore.. Demi, Demi, Demi Moore (now I'm singing with that Britney's Gimme More tunes, lol!!)
And Jessica, Jessica, Jessica!! It's Jessica Alba everyone! Once a Dark Angel who roams Sin City with her other Fantastic Four members, now Jessica is on her own in that Prada gingham dress. Very brave, utterly brave in that absolutely freezing night. Always beautiful, always gorgeous. This is the second time I met her on the premiere with the same high-up hair do. Still, she rocks! And always lovely to the fans... :)
And the hot item on the cold night is Ashton Kutcher. He is in so high demand by the fans that the minders have to keep him out there at very short time. He literally has to run, and skip swiftly from fan to fan. To snap his pix is so damn difficult! Lol!

Well, if you wanna see the atmosphere of that chilling night, well here it is... There're fleets of Merc limo carrying all the stars to the venue, with some Channel 4 camera crew on the opposite side of the red carpet. This time around, the paparazzi (the actual one, lol) is at the entrance of Odeon, instead of in front of Capital Radio building (and Yate's bar).
And me in my fingerless glove, I really undermine the chill weather that night. Too chill that I hands felt numb at times. So, to hold the camera the camera still while at the same time being pushed by other fellow crowds around me, that's a big challenge to get a great shot of the cast. My advice next time: wear a thermal glove. And show up early! :)
