Woven Leather Tissue Box

Sometimes the little details in the decor would create a great accent to the home. It spruce up the interior from being just too bland into something more interesting. Much cosier instead of 'cold'. I love to decorate the interior of any room I'm in, either my temporary bedsit that I'm currently living (which is in basic black and white) to my 4-bedrooms semi-d back home. As they says, home is where the heart is. And creating a nice home will make your heart calms (I think, ehehehe)

So, one decor item that I like is the tissue box. Like this woven leather boxes by Bottega Veneta. Bottega is well known for the immaculate 'weave' from shoes to belts, and bags and wallets. And they complete the look outside of the 'clothing' arena into the decorative items around the house as well. Bottega Casa? Probably they should rename a section for that. Anyway, the tissue boxes is just it. Simple, but it's not plain and cold-looking. The weave add a lil' bit of accent to it. And it's leather, so expect the tissue also carry the 'invigorating' smell of it. Mmmmm.... delish. Oh, the color - from neutral like sand and ivory to the chocolate brown.

Looking at this chocolate leather tissue box reminds me of of the one of my own at home. It's not Bottega veneta btw, but a woven pandanus leaves instead. Coz the area (or the State) I'm living in is so famous with anything gotta do with woven leaves. I really love the color, so luscious and quite luxurious. And I think that's why my sister try to nick it from me. (I bought her the same one, btw).

So, people outside Malaysia... time to visit the country. Oh, talking about the state I'm living in, it's the State of Perak, which is famous for the craftsware (Perak means 'silver' btw). And fyi, Anna Friel has just return from holidaying at one of the famous resort there - the Pangkor Laut Resort. It's sooooo awesome! You've gotta see to make believe! :)

(am I a tourism promoter now? ahaks!!)
