A couple of years ago when I first bought my house, i was about to do some revonation to the already okay house. Yeah, kinda crazy idea just to test my interior designing touch that my friends used to claim I had. I wanna built one big open-plan kitchen instead of the current two-small ones, wanna add another master bedroom on the first floor making the total become five bedrooms (yikes!) and to get two massive walk-in wardrobe ala Carrie Bradshaw in the Sex and the City movie. And, oh. Another outdoor studio with an urban swimming pool too with manicured garden and 7-foot-high teak wood fences. Too ambitious? Not really. Everything is in plan, and would actually work out if people there don't whisk me off to continue my study. Damn it! (But I still love being in London, fyi)
Anyway. The new master bedroom which I had in mind will have a four-poster bed in black. A king size, with square posts. So very masculine, so very urban resort, and so very sexy! The room will lead to a sliding door, which opens to a new balcony with a compact lounging area for me to relax and enjoy the hills at the backyard, while sipping the iced tea on a all-year-round summer day. And the walking wardrobe will have the glass sliding doors ala Ikea Pax wardrobe which gonna store all my countless clothes and bags and shoes and stuff. At the end of the wardrobe there'll be a floor-to-ceiling mirror. Well, you gotta check yourself in style too right?
Everything is all in my dream since 5 years back. And I've been searching for the right photos to get myself more inspired to achieve it. Until at last, it's a big 'EUREKA!!' moment when I saw those bedroom decor designed by Hugo Boss. La voglio, la voglio, la voglio!! As Backstreet Boys said - I want it THAT way!
Now all I can do is to wait till I'll be back home soon. And to keep on dreaming.... :)
