The bling is definitely in for this time of the year. Especially when everyone in their festive moods already and all they can talk about is to celebrate the holidays when 2009 is about to be over. And talking about bling, I'm not talking about the huge chain bling, bling thingy that the thrashy hip hoppers are wearing. Rather the metallic colors which are seen on the suits and accessories during the previous catwalk shows. For me, I think the most chic hues for men is definitely the silver, coz it's just a metallic version of grey anyway. And grey is always very masculine, very metro life kinda color.
I like the lookbook in this week's ES mag where they put together on how to be a silver surfer (no, not that Fantastic Four movie, silly ;D). From the Versace suit and Gucci cardigan on the designer side, to the silver suit at Topman on the highstreet brand. And since silver is great to add an oomph to a bland outfit, I think the most chic and urbane it can be is to pair it with other monochrome siblings.
And talking about ES Lookbook, didn't I just wrote something about Silver Surfer, Gucci cardi and Topman jacket? Hmmm... it made me wonder... ;)
