The first look, I was like 'whoa! Issey Miyake did it again this time?!' The simple, clean line is by far what Issey Miyake is famous for and became his staple signature. But, boy am I wrong here. These watches aren't Issey's - instead, they're from a brand called Uniform Wares. Still, it does got that Twelve watches feel to it (which are designed by Naoto Fukasawa for the fashion house), but sans the dodecagonal edges.
What I love about these watches? They are what I'm looking for in any watches really - very simple, streamline and clean design. Symmetrical is the keyword and there is no fuss here, coz you just got the circular face with the usual dials. But somehow it screams the word 'chic' all over it. Probably because of the uniformity of the design (hence the brand name too, I guess), with cylindrical-ish casing and simple polyurethane strap. Oh man... I think I've just fell in love with it! Could this be the one to replace my Calvin Klein's?
These watches came in 8 shades so far, with monochrome hues of black, white, light and dark grey to some injection of colors like mustard, maroon, red and choc brown. Since they're unisex, both gender can wear it without any problem. Price? Just £85! Who can beat that?! ;)
