I guess people at Jimmy Choo really know their stuff in bringing new trends for footwear. After their collection for men's shoes for H&M, I think the grey suede is really becoming the latest fad. And if you can see my previous post, celebs has even wear it time and time again - from Taylor Lautner to the fashion maestro, Karl Lagerfeld. And yes, I love my grey boots by Choo.
Still, I want more grey suede. This time the laced ones. IMHO, I think the color grey really suits all clothes, just like other monochrome color does. Plus, it's the color for the urban vibe! You can dress down or dress up, depending on what you pair it with.
Some grey lace-ups that I found @ Asos looks pretty cool. From Hudson derby to Heutchy lo and hi-top laced shoes. They're all amazing. If their price is way too much (above £100), the new collection at Zara at just £60 will do the part equally well. Yet one thing about suede that I now learned - water is its main enemy. One splash, then it'll ruin the whole look. So, to prevent get a protective spray (like the Scotchgard thing) for that waterproof barrier and prolong the suede life. :)
